    Skulls, bones and coffins. It's Halloween!!

    This week in the Art room students learnt about Mexico's Day of the Dead holiday and created projects related to that cultural tradition that coincides with Halloween.. 
    PK and Kinder created colorful patterned skulls. 1st grade created sugar skulls and decorated them. 2nd grade made coffins out of recycled boxes and created a skeleton figure out of clay to put in coffins. 3rd graders created Halloween silhouettes. The one pictured above is by Kate Bukowski. Beautiful work!
