    Rio parrots fly in Oyster

    By 3rd graders Anna and Roberto

    This week in the Art room PKinder through 1st grade learned about the Amazon jungle and worked on drawing a parrot (like those colorful guys in Rio!) with simple shapes.

    Students in 2nd grade completed their Salvador Dali and one-point perspective project, while 3rd grade finished their circuses made of wire figures like those of Alexander Calder.

    Loros de Rio vuelan en Oyster
    Esta semana en la sala de arte, los niños de Pre-Kinder hasta 1er grado aprendieron sobre la selva amazónica y cómo dibujar un loro (como los de la película Rio!) con formas sencillas.
    Los estudiantes de 2do grado acabaron su proyecto de Salvador Dalí y perspectiva de un punto, mientras que los de 3er grado terminaron sus circos de figuras de alambre como los de Alexander Calder.
