This week in the Art room, Pre-K, Kinder and 1st Grade worked on collages of the planets of our Solar System. They used construction paper, oil pastels and tempera paint.
The 2nd Graders worked on their Salvador Dali drawings and 3rd Graders worked on their Alexander Calder wire sculpture circuses for a second week.
As their Art teacher I was given a leadership award for last year's school year by Artsonia for having published 5,169 works of art by Oyster students for exhibition on the on-line gallery. Our students have 560 fans and received 578 comments from viewers. And they posted 113 statements about their own work. We would not have achieved this without all their creativity and hard work, and the support and encouragement of their parents. Well done!

Felicitaciones!
