Dr. Seuss, Green Eggs and the Queen

    Post

This week PK to 1st grade celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday coming up in March and drew a picture representing the book "Green Eggs and Ham."
Second graders worked on reproducing Romero Brito's dog design using shrinky dink techniques. Third graders started a project on Queen Elizabeth ll to mark her 85th birthday in April. They will reproduce a portrait of the Queen using Chuck Close's grid technique. And 3A worked with the Washington architects on Thursday, focusing on size and scale.

I will be in the Art room on Parent-Teacher conference day, this comingMonday Feb 28th, so please feel free to pass by and ask questions about our art classes and Artsonia.
