Trees of life a la Klimt - and the auction!!

    Genevieveharrisgrade1

This week in the Art room all grades got a chance to start their "Tree of Life" inspired by Gustav Klimt or finish the one they began last week. Check out the work above by first-grader Genevieve Harris.

The Art room was busy finishing furniture pieces for the auction this coming Saturday. The pieces of furniture up for auction have contributions from every student in the school, anything from a fingerprint (or a hand print) to decoupage of their art work by adding paper cut-outs to the surface of the furniture.

Come and see the art work on Saturday April 21st from 7-11 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Georgetown.
